Black Graphited Fiberglass Flat Tape Gasket is a soft fiberglass yarn with infused graphite knitted together, to form a durable fiberglass tape with an added benefit of graphite as a dry lubricant. Graphited fiberglass rope has a much longer life then it's counterpart, and does not harden up as bad as standard fiberglass tape.  The graphite acts as a dry lubricant keeping the fiberglass much more pliable during use and extends the life of your door seals. This high quality fiberglass tape will not burn or melt and will withstand continous exposure to temperatures of 1,000 degrees F | 540 degrees C. This tape gasket will not absorb liquid and is very flexible. It is a very good product for wood, coal, peat, biomass, pellet, corn, gas, oil furnaces and other such application such as boilers, cake ovens, industrial ovens, furnaces and many other such applications that require resistance to extreme heat. It is highly flexible conformable resists mostacids, alkalines and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents.
